Göran founded the international business development consultancy in 1984 after his two-year assignment at the Swedish Offices of Science & Technology, Los Angeles. Göran is a Senior Advisor at Invest in Sweden Agency, the Swedish government agency with a mission to stimulate foreign direct investment. Göran's involvement in the Swedish American community includes serving as President of The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Los Angeles (SACC GLA), and he is a former Vice Chairman of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce USA (SACC USA). Göran is also Chairman of the Board and Co-founder of EuroVAT Refund, and serves as a Chapter Board Member of the Southern California Software Council Los Angeles. Frequently a speaker and moderator at major tradeshows and industry seminars addressing new trends within the IT industry, specifically wireless and mobile internet and international business development, including Comdex Fall 2000 & 2001, he is also requested as a regular guest commentator on Biz Talk Soup Radio, a nationally-syndicated radio program covering financial and technology issues. Göran earned his Master of Science degree in Computers and Electronics at LTH, University of Lund, Sweden, where he also served as President of the Student Union.
Olof Hult has 25 years of U.S. and global marketing experience and a full understanding of Swedish and American values and cultures. Raised at Lidingö, Sweden, Olof received his MBA in Marketing and International Business from Harvard Business School and has held management positions at consultancies and corporations in the United States and Sweden. Olof has worked with numerous market-leading brands and corporations, such as: IBM, Sony, Hewlett-Packard, ARCO, Esprit, Kinko's, K-Swiss, Rank-Xerox, Adidas, and Colgate. In addition, Mr. Hult has founded two technology start-ups in the Silicon Valley area. In Sweden, Olof is recognized as the strategist behind the long running, successful Gevalia coffee branding campaign, "Oväntat Besök", launched in 1985 and chosen as the Campaign of the Century in 2000 by readers of Sweden's Resumé magazine, a leading publication for the advertising and marketing industry. Prior to joining esi Techtrans in 2002, Olof was Managing Partner of the 200 persons plus San Francisco Brand Building office of marchFIRST. What? Never heard of m1?
