Ideon brings Swedish Incubators together for annual meeting
SiSP, Swedish Incubators & Science Parks, the member organization
for Sweden's 49 Incubators, holds its annual meeting this year at Ideon.
esi Techtrans does not technically qualify as an official member - we
are after all, located in the US - but Göran Eriksson addressed
the membership with insights from the US market. See

Pre-launch of Innovateur Capital LLC
Göran Eriksson addressed a group of Scandinavian Venture Capitalists
assembled in San Francisco, highlighting the special needs facing Scandinavian
start-ups with ambitions to succeed in the US. As part of the presentation
Göran also lifted the veil on Innovateur Capital LLC, a new VC
fund esi Techtrans is partnering with. IC Fund II is being set up to
invest in early stage Scandinavian firms with good market potential in North

Tecknopol Round Table Seminar on Clean Tech Innovation and Growth
Göran
Eriksson and a selection of EU and Swedish business leaders and politicians
participated in Teknopol's Round Table at IDEON in Lund discussing
how Clean Tech innovations can "fuel" economic growth and how to

With the aim of increasing the interaction between leaders from the academic,
business and public sectors, the non-profit organization Q was started
in 2007. The first major event was held at Lund's University, with live foreign

As was noted last fall in esi's newsletter (go to
archive), suddenly the US has taken a huge interest in everything environmental.
Göran, following the key note address by US ambassador Woods, will address
how Swedish firms with environmental solutions can succeed in creating profitable
business opportunities in the US.
