Trade Show and Marketing Services

Exhibiting at, or even just attending, a U.S. tradeshow may be the single most efficient way to initially reach the huge U.S. marketplace. Many companies new to the U.S. market end up squandering the opportunity by not recognizing the importance of pre-show activities. It takes more than just setting up the booth!

With more than 20 years of expertise in the U.S. and international business development, esi Techtrans provides companies exhibiting at tradeshows with a unique opportunity to maximize their presence and fully leverage the investment in booth space and time.

 

Basic: Set Up Tradeshow Meetings

The Basic Package will generate meetings for you at the tradeshow and take care of your pre-show marketing. Components included are:

  • Target Identification: Identify prospective customers/partners (including contact person and telephone number) in the U.S., after assisting you in defining your target group.
  • Sales Letter Design: Write a winning sales letter that will grab the reader's attention to be used in the direct mailing.
  • Direct Mailing: Create a direct mailing to carefully selected prospects.
  • Telemarketing: Follow up on the mailing and contact the prospects to pre-schedule meetings with identified customers/partners for you at the tradeshow.
  • Tradeshow preparation meetings will be arranged via telephone conference one month before the tradeshow.
  • Tradeshow preparation will be done one or two days immediately before tradeshow begins to review and prepare for scheduled meetings discussed via telephone conference.

 

Advanced: Qualify leads + Follow-up

This package includes all the services in the Basic Package, plus additional during and after show activities to make sure you get the full value out of your presence at the tradeshow.

  • Participate in Key Meetings: Our experts are available to participate with you in key customer meetings during the show.
  • Classifying Leads: We will classify leads with you during and after the show.
  • Immediate After-show Written Follow-up: We will contact prospects made at the show to solidify the results of your tradeshow presence.
  • Qualify Leads Further: We will continue to qualify leads, via telephone follow-up during the weeks after the tradeshow.

 

Extra: Booth Staffing

Inadequate training and staffing of booth personnel remains among the most common mistakes shared by trade show exhibitors. We offer a professional show personnel option that can help with the following:

  • Man the booth so you and your experts can participate in meetings, as well as walking the floor.
  • Keep the booth organized and running smoothly.
  • Schedule meetings with walk-ins.
  • Coordinate your meeting schedule.

 

Media: PR Packages

PR is as important an activity in the U.S. to increase your sales as any activity. It is through PR that people will read about your product indicating that it was interesting enough to write about. The following is a preliminary breakdown and description of potential public relations services for companies that are exhibiting at tradeshows. Actual activities will vary slightly, be added or deleted as research, plans and implementation of services adjust to meet actual needs, conditions and opportunities. The PR program may be customized to fit your needs and budget.

Tradeshow Publicity Planning & Activities

  • Research, analyze and develop tactical planning for publicity opportunities such as show award ceremonies, tradeshow daily newspaper, partner publicity opportunities, demonstrations, interviews, and other activities at the tradeshow (beginning six months prior to actual tradeshow).
  • Research tradeshow registered analysts, editors and media.
  • Contact media representatives attending the tradeshow for product demonstrations, interviews and briefings, starting one month before show.
  • Develop key messages for press materials.
  • Write and produce COMPANY/PRODUCT press releases.
  • and produce corporate and marketing backgrounder for press kits.
  • Prepare press materials for distribution in tradeshow media center.
  • Develop media/analyst PowerPoint presentation.
  • Attend the tradeshow, participate in press meetings, provide on-site PR support. (attend media interviews, demonstrations - not including travel time)
  • Followup with media and analysts.
  • Provide company with detailed contact, status and follow-up report.
  • Develop competitive corporate and product positioning.
  • Develop strategic & customized U.S. market/media introduction of company and products.
  • Arrange Individual tradeshow preparation meetings either in person or via video conferencing.

Presentation: Sales & Marketing Materials

Having sales and marketing materials such as brochures, pamphlets, posters, PowerPoint presentations, etc. that conform to the U.S. practices is important. The wording can be quite different when using U.S. English. Texts, when translated, often need to be changed completely to result in the same impact and meaning as the original.
